Tactically the SEC may have finally overplayed their hand
i'm sure the thought was (after OK & TX) it would allow them to continue picking and choosing from the pleading desperate refugees . And who knows, maybe this wont work.
But I am as encouraged as Ive been in a while. B3>SEC any way you cut it. I think the salvo will essentially be- if the SEC wants to live on its own island, fine. We'll do our own thing . You'll be the ABA or AFL of college sports- maybe you will have a better football product and you will do well (in football) and make money for your schools. But you will become increasingly irrelevant in large swaths of the country.
